does Butler Byers Hail Insurance begin and end? Coverage
begins 12:00 noon on the day following the date of purchase
and all policies end at noon October 15th of the same year.

payment options are available?
Cheque,
money order, bank draft,Visa or Mastercard. We also accept
postdated cheques to October 1st with a signed promissory
note (to qualifying customers).
Once
Coverage is purchased can I buy more?
You can buy additional policies any time prior to
October 15th, up to a
maximum of $200 per acre. Applications late in the season may not be
accepted. This coverage limit is based on the land location, not the
owner. ie. If there are two or more people with insurable interests in
the crop, each could purchase $100 coverage or any combination not
exceeding $200 per acre.
How are adjusters paid?
The adjusters are paid a per diem rate,
independant of the outcome of any claim. All hail adjusters must be provincially licensed with the
Hail Insurance Council of Saskatchewan and are guided by the applicable
bylaws.
Can
I buy coverage after a hail storm?
It
depends. Contact your local broker/agent for a specific
case by case determination. They will need to contact us to obtain permission prior
to sending in a submission.
